Sharon Waxkirsh
This two-day live workshop will be led by Sharon Waxkirsh BA HONS CHT MHT HBCE. She is the founder and director of the Academy For Hypnosis and co-founder of the renowned Institute of Hypnotherapy for Medical and Dental Practice (IHMDP). She has successfully trained hundreds of dentists, doctors, and surgeons in hypnotherapy.
In addition to her Honours BA degree, Sharon holds Master Hypnotherapy and HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator certifications. She is fully insured and registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register and the ICNM.
Dr. Brice Lemaire
Dr. Lemaire is a dental surgeon who has been using hypnosis to support his patients for 20 years. He has studied Hypnosis and NLP with many of the leading names in the field, including Ormond McGill, Jerry Kein, John Butler, Larry Elman, Richard Bandler, and Robert Dilts. He created, and teaches hypnosis at, the first Postgraduate Degree in Dental Hypnosis in France, at the University of Nice. He also established the Dave Elman Hypnosis Institute France in cooperation with the prestigious Dave Elman Institute, to promote Elmanian Hypnosis in mainland Europe.

The Academy for Hypnosis is running a two-day workshop at The Royal Society of Medicine, aimed directly at medical and dental practitioners. Over two days, this practical workshop will teach you not only how to use hypnosis to support your patients with existing issues and phobias, but also to access the hypnotic state to create hypnoanalgesia for surgery.
Day 1
- Understand the applications of hypnosis: from the importance of language and semantics to achieving full 'Esdaile level' hypnotic trance
- Develop skills in informal, progressive and rapid hypnotic inductions and learn when to use which approach
- Experience and induce hypnoanalgesia, exploring its usage in a variety of areas within the medical and dental field
Day 2
- Reinforce and recap learning from Day 1
- Introduction to analytical hypnotherapy
- Explore how the rapid therapeutic benefits of this approach help shift patient anxiety, phobia and fears
