Your support and learning continue throughout your hypnotherapy career with Academy For Hypnosis online group and individual supervision. Our supervision sessions provide much needed reassurance at the beginning of your career. As you gain confidence, you will be challenged and supported with continuing professional education, recommended reading, business management advice, and the opportunity to grow and develop your own style of practice.
Throughout your career, the non-judgemental honesty of Academy For Hypnosis supervision provides a safe space to share, reflect and learn from your most challenging cases. All assessment, monitoring and feedback is provided in confidence. Keeping you updated and renewed and being of maximum benefit to you and your patients is our priority.
All of us make ‘mistakes’ in practice and experience personal challenges that impact our work at times. Sometimes we need help understanding and managing our roles in organisations or with colleagues and patients. When our patients are in crisis, at risk or experiencing high needs or trauma, we may need additional emotional and professional support and safeguarding advice.
Occasionally, it is the differences between ourselves and our patients or colleagues, for example, our age, class, nationality, religion, race, gender, sexuality, ability, beliefs, privileges or prejudices, that need to be acknowledged and consciously examined to enable us to be the best hypnotherapists we can be. Academy For Hypnosis supervision and mentoring provides a consistent and reliable forum for the open and positive discussion of these and many other important issues.
We are here for you, wherever you are, throughout your career. Our personal supervision and mentoring sessions guarantee individual attention, mentoring and support. Academy For Hypnosis group supervision additionally offers the inspiration and support of like-minded colleagues and their case work. Some colleagues prefer individual supervision, others group programmes and some both. It is entirely your choice as to when, how and how often you make use of supervision. Course fees must be received prior to the date of the event.
Cancellation policy
All cancellations must be received by email to Cancellations received 29 days or more prior to an event are entitled to a 100% refund. Cancellations received between 15 days and 28 days (inclusive) prior to the event will receive a 75% refund. For cancellations received between 1 day and 14 days (inclusive) prior to the event, no refund will be given. Failure to attend the event on the day will constitute late cancellation and no refund will be given. In cases of poor participation, inappropriate behaviour or persistent lack of progress, Academy For Hypnosis reserves the right to terminate your registration without notice. No refunds will be given under these circumstances.
Programme changes
Academy For Hypnosis reserves the right to alter the speaker, programme and/or date. Any substitutions or alterations will be communicated as soon as possible. Academy For Hypnosis reserves the right to cancel events if enrolment criteria are not met or when conditions beyond its control prevail. Every effort will be made to contact each enrolee if a programme is cancelled. If a programme is not held for any reason, Academy For Hypnosis liability is limited to the refund of the programme fee only. Academy For Hypnosis is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a speaker substitution, alteration, cancellation, or postponement of an event. Academy For Hypnosis shall assume no liability whatsoever if an event is altered, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled due to a fortuitous event or unforeseen occurrence that renders performance of an event inadvisable, illegal, impracticable or impossible. For purpose of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but shall not be limited to: An Act of God; governmental restrictions and/or regulations; war or apparent act of war; terrorism or apparent act of terrorism: disaster; civil disorder, disturbance, and/or riots; curtailment, suspension, and/or restriction on transportation facilities/means of transportation; or any other emergency.
Feedback
Academy For Hypnosis tries to ensure that all users are pleased with their experience. During Academy For Hypnosis events, please raise issues as soon as practicable. Wherever possible Academy For Hypnosis will resolve issues during the event. Feedback is also welcomed at the close of an event.
