During this event, attendees will hear from Sharon and her graduates about various behavior therapy techniques that can be used to harness the power of the subconscious mind.
Each speaker will share how their training has given them the confidence to create a niche within hypnosis. They will showcase how they use hypnosis combined with their other passions to gain truly remarkable results.
Sharon Waxkirsh
The showcase will be hosted by Sharon Waxkirsh BA HONS CHT MHT HBCE. Sharon is the Founder and Director of the Academy For Hypnosis and Co-Founder of the renowned Institute of Hypnotherapy for Medical and Dental Practice (IHMDP). She has successfully trained hundreds of dentists, doctors, and hypnotherapists.
In addition to her BA Honours degree, Sharon holds Master Hypnotherapy and HypnoBirthing Childbirth Educator certifications. She is fully insured and registered with the General Hypnotherapy Register and the ICNM.

Dr Mandy Kent BDS BSc
After a 39-year career working as a dentist, Mandy retired so she could focus on being a hypnotherapist, specialising in clinical hypnosis.
She has studied with the British Society of Clinical and Academic Hypnosis, as well as The Academy for Hypnosis.
Her talk Clinical Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy in Dentistry will cover applications of clinical hypnosis/hypnotherapy in dentistry not only for the dentist/patient but the whole team.
Reflections on studying with the Academy for Hypnosis:
Being a student of the Academy for Hypnosis has given me the knowledge and confidence to use clinical hypnosis and hypnotherapy in my dentistry career and as a lay hypnotherapist. I had previously trained with BSCAH and Hypnotic Solutions, both very good in their own way.
Sharon Waxkirsh has inspired me to believe in myself and has created a community of like minded people who all support one another, practice together and learn together. I have benefited hugely from Sharon's teaching together with other great teachers such as Brian Ackie and Brice Lemair.
Suzanne Dinter
Suzanne is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, trained foremost in Gil Boyne's Transforming Therapy™ method by Dr John Butler, and Sharon Waxkirsh.
Her talk Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere looks at how she helps expats cope with the disorientation, anxiety, isolation and loneliness that many of them face when moving to a foreign country.

I joined the Academy for Hypnosis to refresh my skills, as I was already a qualified clinical hypnotherapist. The insights I gained from Sharon's unique take on Transforming Therapy™ helped to enrich my client work.

Stefania Trudu
Stefania is a clinical hypnotherapist, Bach Flower practitioner, corporate wellness trainer and, tarologist. Practicing in person and online, she currently splits her time between the UK and her native Sardinia.
Her talk Hypnosis, Active Imagination & the Tarot: letting the mind out to play looks at how hypnosis, active imagination, and Tarot, seemingly disparate practices, share the fascinating capacity to unlock the depths of the subconscious mind and foster personal growth, transformation, and evolution.
Reflections on studying with the Academy for Hypnosis:
As a certified hypnotherapist working exclusively in person, the pandemic halted my work entirely. Sharon's teachings at the Academy were transformative: her encyclopedic knowledge of the history and practice of hypnosis coupled with innovative hands-on training, increased my confidence and fostered professional optimism.
The emphasis on client-centred work, reinforcing my foundational training, facilitated a deeper connection with my clients. Helen Davis
Helen is a clinical hypnotherapist specialising in hypnosis for surgery and chronic health conditions. An experienced yoga teacher, she also teaches Bones for Life®, the program to stimulate bone strength and improve postural alignment through natural movement.
Her talk Turbocharging the Mind/Body Connection: Hypnosis for Physical Change looks at the effect our thoughts and emotions have on our long-term health, and how hypnotherapy can support the healing process.

As Sharon Waxkirsh's client, I experienced her transformational skills firsthand, so much so that I went on to train as a hypnotherapist myself. When she opened the Academy for Hypnosis a few years later I jumped at the opportunity to consolidate and expand my knowledge of the techniques that had enriched my own life and those of my clients.

The final hour of the event will be a Q&A and discussion on all things hypnosis led by Sharon Waxkirsh.
During this session you will be able to discuss anything and everything hypnosis which will provide a solid networking opportunity with like minded individuals. Current and past students will be in attendance so this will be an invaluable opportunity to ask any questions about their experiences in learning hypnotherapy.
